Have I got a good job, or what? I get paid to take pictures.

I shoot for www.StockPhotography.co.uk a stock image library that specialises in the UK. This naturally gets me out and about in London and gives me a unique perspective to share with visitors, both fellow photographers and tourists.

If you trace my steps in this series of four London Walks you will find the all best tourist attractions that the capital has to offer in the minimum time!

Most of our walks begin at an underground station. They call it the Underground but that is a misnomer; most of it is actually overground (in the suburbs). Londoners moan about the "Tube" but it is still the best way to reach any part of the Capital. Try doing that in LA! Forget the car too. London's Mayor has long since declared war on the motorist in the capital with congestion charging, meter maids, and Pay and Display! Black Cabs (taxis) are plentiful and can help navigate the routes mentioned.

So, I'm assuming you're on foot and don't want to walk more than a few miles. London can be tiring. Each walk lasts about three hours and will give you an efficient route to the maximum number of tourist attractions.

My advice is take your time. Spend a whole day on a walk, not just the minimum three hours. Enjoy the restaurants (there may be no such thing as English Cuisine but we do have some of the best Italian, Indian, and other restaurants). Explore the galleries.

Mix and Match. You can jump from one route to another easily (if you have the Stamina!). Otherwise, get a Zone 1 day pass and let the taxis ease your feet when they begin to ache!
